This notice explains how personal data is handled when you use justanotherpdftool.com (the "site"), a free, privacy-respecting PDF toolbox.

What data we process and why
- Files you upload (e.g. to merge or split PDFs): processed on the server and deleted immediately once the operation completes. They are never stored, never put in any database and never used for other purposes.
- Technical logs: our infrastructure (Google Cloud) automatically records data such as IP address, browser type, date/time and requested page, to run the service, keep it secure and diagnose issues.
- Language preference: stored in a technical cookie (
LANG). - Consent choice: stored in your browser (localStorage
japt-consent) to remember your cookie choice. - Advertising: the site is free and supported by Google AdSense. Advertising cookies are used only with your consent; without consent, ads are non-personalized (Google Consent Mode v2). See the Cookie policy.

- Performance of the service you request, to process your files (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).
- Legitimate interest, for technical logs and security (Art. 6.1.f GDPR).
- Consent, for cookies and advertising (Art. 6.1.a GDPR).
Who receives the data
To run the service we rely on Google (Google Ireland Ltd / Google LLC) for hosting (Google Cloud) and advertising (AdSense). We do not sell or share your data with anyone else.
Transfers outside the European Union
Some data may be processed by Google outside the EU (e.g. the United States). Where this happens, the transfer relies on the safeguards required by the GDPR (standard contractual clauses and/or the Data Privacy Framework).
How long we keep data
- Uploaded files: not kept: deleted once processing completes.
- Technical logs: kept for a limited period defined by the hosting provider.
- Cookies / consent: for the duration stated in the Cookie policy or until you withdraw consent.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, request rectification or erasure, restrict or object to processing, obtain portability and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise them write to ale.bivi94@gmail.com.
Complaint to a supervisory authority
If you believe the processing of your data infringes the law, you may lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, www.garanteprivacy.it).
